I’m not sure why Scott Gomez has been having such a difficult time scoring goals these last twelve months (well, okay, maybe during the summer months I can venture a guess) but it’s gotta sting when the international sports media starts pointing out the first year anniversary of the last time he scored. Sting both Gomez and the Montreal Canadiens organization as a whole.
At least Gomez managed to score since that anniversary (and will be the subject of Thursday’s comic). Which has to be a huge relief. I mean with the pressure off now he’s good for another year, right?
