No sooner does he celebrate his one year goalless anniversary than Scott Gomez finally scores. I’m happy for Gomez, actually. I mean he can’t be enjoying this year at all. Especially not when the sports media (and certain jack-ass sports cartoonists *ahem*) are picking on him all the time.
Looks like things are picking up for Gomez, right? Wrong.
No sooner does he finally got that monkey off his back (if you are keepign track, that’s one goal a year at $7.5 million per year) than he gets into a shouting match with one of his coaches.
And I guess the monkey climbs back on…
