Small Market Sports: Comic Strip

I am one of about 1.3 million BlackBerry Playbook owners and I am not ashamed to say that I absolutely love it. Best $199 I’ve spent in a long time!

I only bought mine (actually, we bought two – one for my wife too!) after the OS 2.0 release so I can’t speak to the limitations the Playbook experienced before the new OS. All I know is that it’s been nothing but a positive experience so far.  Like Dave in today’s comic, I bought mine for very specific tasks. I really only need mine to stay in contact with readers/clients (Facebook, Twitter, email) and surf the web for sports news while still being able to teach/play with/supervise my 18 month old son.

Hell, even my son loves the TVOKids apps (not to mention Angry Birds and Plants vs. Zombies) and has fun video chatting with my wife on her Playbook from her office.

With all the tablet computer adoration in the household, it was bound to find it’s way into the comic strip, eh?

And for the record, I have nothing against the iPad or Android tablets.

BTW, counting guest comics, this is the 500th Small Market Sports comic!
